Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. As a Creative Marketing Specialist, you will be an integral part of our marketing team, responsible for assisting in the development and execution of creative marketing campaigns and strategies. You will play a crucial role in executing creative initiatives that promote Cox Automotive products/services and engage our target audience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring our brand to life, enhance its visibility, and drive consumer engagement.
We are looking for a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics. The nature of our business means that every day brings a new and exciting challenge to the job. What You’ll Do
Content Creation, Ideation & Content Review:
Assist in the creation of compelling marketing content, including social media posts, corporate videos, infographics, and other visual and written materials.
Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other team members to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Creative direction: begin to understand how creative strategy and creative execution marry together and how to provide constructive (but not prescription) feedback to the Agency. Includes familiarization with our brands and product offerings (including strengths and challenges) to inform creative direction from a business perspective.
Contribute fresh and innovative ideas to marketing brainstorming sessions.
Campaign Support:
Understand the internal and external process for execution; Help team prepare effective briefing and contribute to idea generation
Coordinate materials for meetings and assist in developing beautiful presentations
Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, from ideation to post[1]campaign analysis.
Understand key project details and help to ensure creative output meets our objectives
Begin to understand how creative and media work together and partner with the media agency to help deliver against creative to support the media plan.
Asset Management:
Asset organization / management / tracking: curate, categorize, and organize a vast library of digital and physical creative assets, ensuring efficient search and retrieval.
Asset distribution: Facilitate easy access to assets for internal teams and external partners, including designers, marketers, and vendors. Ensure that assets are distributed in the appropriate format and resolution for their intended use.
Act as a liaison between teams, providing support in asset selection and sharing insights on asset availability.
Brand Governance:
Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of the company's brand identity across all communication channels.
Merchandising & Communication:
Develop (or assist in the development) beautiful presentations that are both helpful/informational in addition to beautiful
Assist in the internal merchandising of creative projects to get leadership excited about the amazing work

Who You Are/Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 4 years of marketing experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field.
A strong creative mindset and an ability to think outside the box to develop engaging marketing content and campaigns.
Proficiency with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Familiarity with popular social media platforms and a keen interest in staying up to date with social media trends and best practices.
Well-organized and detail oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as an understanding of persuasive messaging.
A proactive and ambitious go-getter with the ability to foresee what needs to be done before being told.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to the “new"
Strong proficiency in PPT or equivalent program
Ability to work with teams, internally and externally (teamwork makes the dream work)
Enthusiasm: A passion for marketing, creativity, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing strategies and technique
Travel: 5%
Preferred:
Degree in marketing, communications, advertising, design or a related field.
Experience working at a creative agency and/or with creatives
Copywriting skills – writing net new copy for social or scripts in addition to editing, providing feedback on creative copy
Familiarity with media platforms and experience working on assets to support media buys
Experience working with research teams to initiate projects and analyze the data into actionable next steps
Experience working within an organization whose product is technology / a website
