Creative Operations Manager, SVP - Marketing

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Creative Operations Manager to join our dynamic creative team. In this role, you will oversee the operational aspects of our creative department, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. You will serve as the bridge between creative teams, stakeholders, and clients, optimizing workflows, managing resources, and ensuring that processes align with the overall business goals. The Creative Operations Manager will play a key role in enhancing the creative output of the department while driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and optimize creative project workflows to ensure smooth project delivery from concept to execution

Oversee the scheduling, resource allocation, and prioritization of creative projects across multiple teams

Maintain clear communication with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure that all projects meet deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations

Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by effectively managing resources, timelines, and milestones

Work closely with creative directors, designers, writers, and other team members to ensure that creative briefs are clear and actionable

Foster collaboration and ensure that creative teams have the support they need to execute projects effectively

Facilitate regular team meetings, providing status updates and addressing any challenges or roadblocks that may arise

Evaluate and improve existing creative workflows to increase efficiency and reduce bottlenecks

Establish and maintain project management best practices to ensure consistency and high-quality outcomes across all creative projects

Develop and track key performance metrics (KPIs) related to project delivery, quality, and team performance

Oversee the allocation of creative resources (personnel, tools, etc.) to ensure optimal team utilization

Manage freelance and external talent recruitment

Coordinate with other departments to ensure that creative resources are allocated according to organizational priorities

Continual monitoring and restructuring of staffing plans

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, sales, product) to understand project goals and client requirements

Provide regular project updates to leadership and key stakeholders, managing expectations and addressing any issues promptly

Ensure that client feedback is captured and communicated to the relevant teams to maintain high-quality work

Oversee the implementation and management of creative tools, project management software, and systems to improve team collaboration and efficiency

Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technology that can optimize creative processes and workflows

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, or production management, preferably in a creative agency, design studio, or similar environment

Strong background in managing creative workflows, resource allocation, and team coordination

Experience with project management and collaboration tools

Skills:

Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality results

Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both creative teams and business stakeholders

Solid understanding of the creative process, from concept development to final execution

Ability to analyze project data and performance metrics to improve efficiency and outcomes

Expected annual base salary range:

$150,000 - $225,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
