Product Discovery & Promotion (PDP) sits at the heart of the Choosing experience for every Netflix member. From Metadata & Tagging, Creative Strategy & Craft, through to Production, Globalization and Launch, this team touches every title that our members see on the Netflix platform. Our purpose is to create joy for our members by helping them discover stories they’ll love - and we do this by marrying entertainment and visual storytelling with data and innovation to develop creative (artwork, video and copy) for touch points across the Netflix experience.
The Role
PDP Creative Producers are responsible for driving the production process for creative assets within PDP. They are accountable for production-related tasks across all phases of the workflow, from preparation (asset sourcing, setting up timelines and milestones) to production (managing different phases of the creative process, liaising with internal creatives and external agencies/partners), and delivery (overseeing finishing, asset coordination and quality control). Creative Producers also play a key role in aligning and collaborating with cross-functional teams, and represent the PDP team in discussions around timelines and deliverables of creative assets.
Responsibilities:
Manage creative production of promotional assets for the Korean content slate for on-product use. Effectively project-manage multiple title launches with internal cross-functional teams and external agencies/partners to ensure timely and accurate documentation, sourcing, conceptualisation, production, and seamless delivery of image, video and copy creative assets.
Be at the forefront of cross-functional discussions on creative production milestones and planning (effectively representing PDP timelines & budgets), aligning with key stakeholders (e.g. Marketing teams) to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery against project objectives.
Support the creative conceptualisation process with internal Strategists, Designers, Editors and external freelancers, creative agencies.
Manage external agency engagements from sourcing, briefing, negotiating, ensuring completion of deliverables with quality and completeness in project billing.
Gain deep understanding of promotional asset canvases on product and support creative production for creative innovation programs.
Knowledge sharing with peers in other markets, contributing to improving and scaling regional workflows globally and implementing workflows in the country.
Qualifications:
10+ years of project/ program management and stakeholder management in a creative production environment for digital artwork and video assets.
3+ years of external vendor contracting experience. Familiar with setting up vendor contracts, tracking contractual fulfillments and closing off project billing.
Professional proficiency in English and Korean required
Exceptional communicator: Ability to inspire and influence, and dexterity in presenting to internal cross-functional teams and external content partners.
Leading without authority. A veteran in building strong relationships with trust and demonstrating effective leadership qualities.
Proactive, fast, and flexible problem-solver with superb time, resource, and stakeholder management.
Self-motivated leader and strong collaborator/team player - with the ability to maintain calm, make good decisions and work with constant ambiguity.
Familiarity with and passion for Korean content. Experience working in the entertainment space is a plus.
Proficiency in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Gmail
Proficiency in project management tools such as Airtable and Monday.com will be a bonus but not required
