Creative Program Manager, eero Packaging Team
Description The Creative Program Manager drives the schedule, development, and execution of end to end packaging artwork and label content and manufacturing as it applies to eero products. Your role starts from the packaging/label content concept phase and continues through pre-production prototyping phases until PVT/ramp and post ramp qualification for sustaining programs. You drive the packaging and label content development process across functional stakeholders including product, marketing, legal, supply chain, packaging engineering, suppliers, and contract manufacturers. This role is dedicated to managing product, legal, and sustainability claims, as well as substantiation towards those claims. A design and operational scope is required, with experience in product design, consumer packaging/labeling, artwork development, printing, color controls, product lifecycle management (PLM), and factory qualification. To be successful in this role, you must follow a systematic process to develop content requirements cross-functionally, determine schedules and milestones for execution within program expectations, and effectively manage prototype, production, and post-ramp file release. You are the type of person who proactively identifies gating decisions, gathers data inputs, drives down selection, and reports on program progress. Key job responsibilities -Work with cross-functional stakeholders including marketing, brand, product, legal, compliance, and operations to determine on-box packaging and label content for eero programs -Lead ID and content approval and artwork approval meetings with CEO & CMO -Drive design schedule from branding development to final packaging artwork at the supplier -Create and execute processes and schedules for development, review, and approval of said content for prototype, production, and post-ramp file release -Develop systems that improve how existing and future packaging & label content at eero and is reviewed, approved, & released for production -Work with marketing, ID, brand, legal, compliance, suppliers, and product to define and deliver content that facilitates a best-in-class out-of-box-experience -Commit to aligning packaging/label content development, review, and release schedules with device build schedules at CM -Develop rapport with supplier partners and detailed knowledge of "how the factory works" including its capabilities and limitations. -Own the change control execution process (PLM) for packaging & label content -Engage with manufacturing partners -Remain engaged with internal legal stakeholders to manage compliance & regulatory aspects of packaging & label content -Lead bi-weekly calls with CM's & suppliers based in South East Asia Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 2+ years of technical product or program management experience - 2+ years of software development experience - 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
