CREATIVE PROJECT MANAGER, WBUR Marketing & Communications

This new role on the Marketing and Communications team is an opportunity to harness your organizational and communication skills in support of WBURs public service journalism. As our Creative Project Manager, you'll act as a critical liaison with editorial and business colleagues throughout the organization overseeing process from planning to execution and completion for multiple, often complex, projects at any one time.
Your expertise in change management, prioritization alignment and operational excellence will help our in-house creative team track the overall flow of projects and ensure success every step of the way. Mindful of strategic objectives, you'll manage plans, schedules, deliverables and other expectations. You'll also provide momentum as we continue our brand evolution across platforms and recognize WBUR's milestone 75th anniversary in 2025. You'll report to the Director of Marketing and collaborate closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager, Marketing Operations Manager and Graphic Designer.
Required Skills
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent/relevant experience in project management, business administration, nonprofit management, marketing, advertising, communications or a related field.
+ Five years of experience within an agency or creative team environment.
+ Familiarity working with media/news organizations and/or non-profits a plus.
Additional Qualifications:
+ Deep understanding of short- and long-term project management and entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.
+ Ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure environments, with effective multitasking and time management skills. Intimate knowledge of creative processes and workflows across design, multimedia production and distribution.
+ Expertise with project management tools like Trello, Jira, Airtable, Wrike or similar platforms.
+ Proven ability to work cross-departmentally and with diverse stakeholders to implement organizational change.
+ Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail, with the capacity to work both independently and with a team.
+ Collaborative spirit and desire to reinforce an environment that values unique experiences, cultures, backgrounds and goals.
