Creative Project Manager
Description We are on the lookout for a Creative Project Manager to join our machinery manufacturing team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing digital marketing strategies, CRM systems, and internal communications, with a particular focus on driving lead generation and maximizing ROI from our marketing partnerships within a heavy industrial manufacturing setting. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage lead generation activities, including the implementation of SEO optimization strategies and Google Business Profile management. • Serve as the primary liaison between our internal team and the external marketing agency, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on marketing initiatives. • Manage and maintain CRM systems, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping. • Design, execute, and monitor the performance of email marketing campaigns, including styling, list sanitation, dissemination, and tracking. • Develop and standardize internal informational resources to ensure consistent and effective communication across all departments. • Manage social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn, creating engaging content for various platforms, including monthly newsletters, product features, and other marketing materials. • Create compelling content for multiple platforms, including website updates, blog posts, social media updates, and marketing collateral. • Contribute fresh ideas and insights to enhance the overall marketing strategy and maximize ROI from marketing partnerships. • Collaborate with various units within the heavy industrial manufacturing setting, understanding their specific needs and incorporating them into marketing efforts. • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. Requirements Responsibilities: Agency Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between our internal team and the external marketing agency, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on marketing initiatives. Lead Generation & SEO: Oversee lead generation activities and manage the implementation of SEO optimization strategies, including Google Business Profile management. CRM Management: Manage and maintain CRM systems, with a preference for proficiency in Sage and SharePoint. Email Marketing: Refine and execute email campaigns, including styling, list sanitation, dissemination, and performance tracking. Internal Communications: Create, format, and standardize internal informational resources to ensure consistent and effective communication across all departments. Social Media Marketing: Manage social media presence, with a focus on LinkedIn, creating engaging content for various platforms, including monthly newsletters, product features, and other marketing materials. Content Creation: Develop compelling content for multiple platforms, including website updates, blog posts, social media updates, and marketing collateral. Marketing Strategy Support: Contribute fresh ideas and insights to enhance the overall marketing strategy and maximize ROI from marketing partnerships. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support various units within the heavy industrial manufacturing setting, understanding their specific needs and incorporating them into marketing efforts. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications: Proven organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities (written and verbal), and a proactive problem-solving approach are paramount. Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, social media marketing (especially LinkedIn), and email marketing. Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Sage and SharePoint. Familiarity with Google Business Profile management. Strong content creation skills and the ability to adapt writing style to different platforms and audiences. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus. A strong understanding of both internal and external processes to maximize ROI from the marketing partner.
