Creative Resource Manager
Location: Canton, MassachusettsJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $45 - 51 per hourWe are seeking a strategic and tech-savvy Resource Manager to optimize our creative team's staffing, productivity, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who can seamlessly manage internal and external creative talent while maintaining precise cost tracking and proactive workforce planning.Responsibilities:Project Management and Talent Allocation Utilize project management platforms to strategically assign work and track team bandwidth across 20+ brands concurrently. Manage staffing for projects using a dynamic mix of internal and external creative professionals. Maintain a comprehensive network of external creative contacts for rapid talent sourcing during peak periods. Financial and Cost Management Track and manage internal and external staffing costs with exceptional accuracy. Process freelancer payments through cumbersome SAP systems. Develop detailed cost projections and staffing budget proposals using data-driven insights for management. Predict and flag potential busy periods and out of scope resource needs to ensure optimal resource allocation. Talent Acquisition and Management Recruit top-tier creative professionals including: Copywriters, Designers, Art Directors, Project Managers, Editors and other specialized creative roles. Alongside creative and design directors, evaluate candidate portfolios and assess talent based on merit and project requirements. Understand the creative lifecycle to make strategic hiring and staffing decisions. Technical Proficiency Demonstrate adaptability with technology platforms. Proficient in using hours and bandwidth tracking tools. Skilled in project management software. Ability to quickly learn and integrate new tracking and management technologies. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in resource management, preferably in a creative or agency environment. Strong understanding of creative industry workflows. Analytical and financial tracking skills. Proven ability to manage both internal teams and external freelance talent. Advanced proficiency in project management workflow software. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP systems (vendor + contractor payments in corporate structures). Background and robust understanding of creative industries. Data analysis skills. Skills:  Strategic workforce planning. Detailed financial tracking. Technology adaptation.
