Job Summary:

The Creative Services Manager directs creative output for the Killington/Pico Resorts’ brands from concept stages through production. This role is responsible for the visual representation of the resort across print, web, social, photography, and videography. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of the ski/snowboard industry and mountain culture, as well as the ability to understand and anticipate the needs of internal and external teams to find creative solutions to meet marketing goals and objectives. The Creative Services Manager will manage strategic creative direction and visual presence of resort marketing content and materials to help reach our customers, increase revenues, communicate effectively, and create operational efficiencies.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Develop, manage, and enforce resort brand standards and guidelinesManage and assist the Content Team providing creative direction and assistance in the execution of Killington and Pico contentManage and assist the Creative Design & Production Supervisor with creative direction and execution of projectsAssist the content team with management, scheduling, and directing photo and video projects, ensuring results are on-brand and up to resort standardsAssist with distribution strategies including but not limited to website, social media, email, and mediaProvide creative direction to creative agency ensuring brand standards and resort objectives are being met.Serve as day-to-day contact with creative agency to ensure deadlines are met and assets are deliveredWork with creative agency, consultants, and internal planning teams to assure efficient processes are implemented and to coordinate projects with overlapping responsibilitiesOversee the management of the resort’s digital asset management systems keeping assets current and available to stake holders including internal storage and external sharing systemsUtilize digital reporting and analytics to inform and verify content strategyDaily collaboration with the communications and digital marketing teams is required to be an effective and productive member of the marketing teamOther duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

**This position requires an intermediate to advanced ski/snowboard ability**

Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, or related field plus four years of experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquiredA strong portfolio featuring past photo and video projects, action sports/outdoor industry experience requiredFamiliarity with skiing and snowboarding is a must. Knowledge of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain is a plusA skier or snowboarder of advanced ability level. Mountain biking experience a plus but not required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals/organizations in and outside of the companyExcellent communication (oral and written) skillsMicrosoft Word, Microsoft Excel; Microsoft PowerPoint; Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop; database managementExperience in using various types of camera equipmentExcellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromiseMaintain a positive attitude and always be willing to help fellow team members both in and outside of the department Weekend and holiday work required, and occasionally outside of normal office hours
