Credentialed Trainer - IT EPIC Clinical - Full Time

Position Summary:
The main function of the Credentialed Trainer is to conduct end user training for the Epic Electronic Health Record across The Guthrie Clinic. A Credentialed Trainer (CT) is responsible for in‐classroom training of Epic and operational workflows to end users. They will also provide go‐live and post go‐live support to the units/departments/practices. A key responsibility will be to work collaboratively with the Principal Trainers, Training Manager, and the IT Team in the execution of classroom training of EHR end‐users.
Education, License & Cert:
Associates Degree
In lieu of an Associates degree, High school diploma or GED and 2 years of healthcare and/or training related experience may be considered
Experience:
At a minimum, must have basic computer skills with some exposure to healthcare information systems. Demonstrated organizational, writing, and communication skills necessary. A proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Previous training experience preferred.

1. Attainment of Epic credentialing of assigned application for teaching end users the Epic application, as directed.
2. Delivers classroom instruction for assigned application(s) of Epic Program.
3. Ensures the readiness of training rooms, computer workstations, devices and materials for class.
4. Assesses the effectiveness of the curriculum to identify and contribute to quality improvements.
5. Provides “Go Live” Support and serves as a training resource to assigned departments/clinics.
6. Collaborates with LMS System Administrators to ensure accurate attendance and reporting from classes.
7. Performs related duties as required.
Other Duties:
1. Travel for this position is sometimes required.
2. Participation in community and employee engagement activities is required.
