Summary

JOB SUMMARY: Manages the documentation of the credentialing process at initial and/or reappointment for all LBH providers at all LifeBridge Health sites. May perform complex credentialing functions and support in accordance with established policies and procedures, Joint Commission, NCQA and State of Maryland requirements Coordinates ,manages and approves all aspects of the initial and/or reappointment process for all LBH providers within the departmental assignments. Participates in Joint Commission, CMS and Regulatory surveys

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) certification preferred when eligible by NAMSS (National Association of Medical Staff Services) 3-5 years experience in hospital, physician practice or managed care credentialing Prefer experience with ECHO credentialing software
