East West Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst. The Credit Analyst will evaluate the financial condition businesses applying for credit with the financial institution.

Responsibilities Able to demonstrate moderate to superior skills in financial statement spreading and the evaluation of projections.Support Relationship Manager / Portfolio Manager in evaluating, recommending, managing bank loans and other forms of bank credit.Understand the Bank’s credit policy and procedures.Keeps informed of current underwriting practicesAssist in accurately risk-rating loans/credits.Evaluate both cash-flow and collateral-based loans/credits.Perform cash Flow Modeling and Quarterly Credit Monitoring Report (QMR)Facilitate developing problem loan credit solutions.May support team portfolio sizes ranging between $50-250MM.Assist with portfolio management, Loan Monitoring and updating ONTRACK Reports in compliance with C&I.Other projects assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree or concentration in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Current college senior or recent graduate with 1-3 years of experience, ideally with credit training or experience in financial modeling and analysisStrong writing and communication skills are criticalProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Ability to work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detailFlexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
