The Credit Analyst will review the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses to determine the risk involved in lending money or extending credit.

Responsibilities Maintain credit/collections records in ERP systemValidate and approve sales tax exemptionsAnalyze credit and financial informationAssign credit limits within a set authority matrixMaintain sound Credit policy while respecting Sales goalsMultiple reviews of daily orders and approvalsCommunicate credit holds to Sales and CustomersOccasional customer visitsHeavy telephone and written communicationsEnforce terms of sale and take collection action as neededDeal with sensitive issues involving key accountsResolve disputes and deductionsPrepare documentation to perfect bond claims and lien rightsMake recommendations to credit managerPrepare AR portfolio risk analysis reportParticipate in credit industry group meetingsEfficiently manage multiple priorities and deadlines QualificationsEducation and Experience:
BS/BA in Finance or AccountingMinimum 5 years of commercial credit experienceStrong analytical skillsKnowledge of security and creditor rightsStrong communication & negotiating skillsKnowledge of construction lien lawStrong PC skills - word processing/spreadsheetsInternational Credit experience beneficialKnowledge/Skills/Competencies:
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products: Ex. Excel, Word, and OutlookExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to work with Senior Management to ensure financial directives are followed Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment A quick learner, deadline driven, with a can-do attitude are essential traits for our successful candidate.
