Job Requisition: Credit Analyst

Location: Shared Services Center, Warsaw, Poland (Onsite)

 

About the Role:

 

We are looking for a dedicated and analytical Credit Analyst to join our Shared Services team in Warsaw, Poland.
This role will support our global operations, focusing on analyzing and managing customer credit risk to optimize collections and ensure the health of our accounts receivable portfolio.

Reporting to the Credit & Collections Team Lead, the Credit Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate creditworthiness, monitor customer accounts, and support decision-making within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Credit Risk Assessment: Perform credit reviews and assessments for new and existing customers, analyzing financial statements, payment history, and credit scores.

• Credit Limit Management: Recommend credit limits based on the analysis of customer data and established risk criteria, while continuously monitoring customer accounts for any changes in creditworthiness.

• Accounts Receivable Monitoring: Track aging accounts receivable, identify potential issues, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risk, including collaborating with the collections team to address overdue accounts.

• Customer Order Hold Review: Review and analyze the situation of customers with orders on hold to confirm if they can either be released or if they require additional management escalation before a decision is taken.

• Financial Analysis: Analyze trends, create credit reports, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all credit evaluations, decisions, and actions comply with company policies, industry regulations, and internal audit requirements.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, collections, and finance teams to provide guidance on credit policies and facilitate the approval process.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, or a related finance role, preferably in a shared services or global company setting.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in financial analysis, with a strong understanding of credit evaluation metrics and risk assessment.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle-preferred-) and financial software.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

• Language: Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Experience in a technology or software company.

• Knowledge of credit reporting agencies and tools.
