Credit Analyst
Job Responsibilities Purpose of Job

In this role, you will monitor customer accounts, track and address open items, overdue receivables, and arrange their settlement. You will make regular calls with external customers and develop relationships internally and externally to provide support to the Customer Service and Sales teams.

Responsibilities & Tasks Duties & Responsibilities Strong Communication Skills – Follow up and communicate with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and on-time payment of receivables and resolution of disputed open items. Decision-making – Make decisions about the release of blocked orders. Credit Risk – Assess credit risk and perform creditworthiness analysis of customers to make decisions about order releases and credit limits in accordance with the delegation of power. Collections – Maintain accurate credit data and collection files, as well as electronic collection notes for each customer account, and take mitigating actions to avoid past due invoices. Discrepancy Resolutions – Follow up on disputes with the Customer Service & Sales team to reduce the impact on collections. Overdue Management – Identify root causes of issues that lead to receivable aging, report findings to management, and suggest & implement possible courses of action to resolve them. Teamwork – Provide training for new credit team members and others as needed. Proactiveness – Analyze processes and procedures to make recommendations for efficiency and effectiveness improvements. Continuous Improvement – Collaborate in the design and implementation of processes to enhance efficiency. Processes & Tools Used MS Office – Basic MS Office knowledge with an advanced level in Excel. SAP – Experience with SAP; S4/Hana experience is an additional advantage. Accounting – Ability to apply basic accounting principles in interpreting customer financial statements (preferred but not mandatory). Required Competencies Strong in business writing and professional communication with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally. (Level 5) Positive "can-do" attitude, understanding the value of teamwork and managing challenges as a team. (Level 5) Strategic thinking with strong evaluation and problem-solving skills. (Level 4) Engaging, customer-centric approach, ensuring positive relationship building and a persistent commitment to resolving disputed items. (Level 3) Ability to follow defined strategies to ensure goals are met and exceeded. (Level 3) Required Languages English – Fluent in verbal and written communication. Any additional language at an intermediate level is considered a benefit. (Level 4) Required Experience & Education Experience – 2+ years in a similar role.
