Job Title: Credit Analyst
Function: Finance
Reports to: Invoice to Cash Regional/ Global Process Owner
Sub Function: Process Owner Team
Location: APAC – Kuala Lumpur
Job purpose:
To provide credit management support to the finance and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for credit risk assessment of new business opportunities as well as performing review of the credit utilisation of existing customers in line with the Credit and Collection Policy. This is a Full Time Fixed Term role in 12 months duration.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Perform credit assessments on new business opportunities within the AVEVA group
Perform periodic credit review of customers globally within the assigned portfolio
Escalate any exceptions on credit issues in line with policy
Reporting – KPI analysis of customer credit risk and limits
Ad hoc credit related tasks
Skills, know-how and experience:
Must have:
Minimum 5 years of work experience within customer credit assessment and financial analysis environment
Good understanding of finance systems
Computer literacy, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Tools such as Excel, Word, Power point
Fluency in English
Strong sense of integrity always does the right thing and encourages others to behave in the same way.
Ability to perform in a time pressures environment to meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly energetic and self-motivated; ability to work as an individual or as a Team Member.
Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
Flexibility to work shifts
Technical / professional qualifications:
Degree holder of Finance, Accounting or Business Administrations
Strong MS Office, Excel and Oracle knowledge as well as experience in the Business and Accounting systems used in the function
