Credit Analyst

Purpose:

 

The Credit Management Specialist will contribute to the smooth collaboration and operational excellence between the Global Business Services (GBS) organization and the Market by liaising, raising awareness and propose actions across all elements of Credit/ Risk management. Actively supporting the local Credit Manager on an Operational and Strategic level to promote business growth while enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of Credit processes and policies to minimize Risk.

 

 

Prepare data for Credit limits Seasonal Reviews / run ad-hoc credit reviews and ensure accuracy of Credit Data.  Highlight issues with orderbook conversion and escalate/suggest actions as required Support with the external rating agency (D&B) either through online portal or with local representative.  Support building relationships with Customers, organising internal and external meetings and preparation as required Liaise with GBS Credit teams on Market priorities and operations providing support and guidance where required in alignment with Market Credit Manager. Management of Bank Guarantees & Security Deposits. Follow up with GBS Credit teams, local Accounting Teams and Banking institutions.  Follow up existing Litigation and assist with new legal cases. Knowledge of applicable bankruptcy laws. Ensure accuracy of existing Customer Data.   Support on all topics related to current & new system/process gaps.  Supporting ad-hoc projects as key-user / representing the Market.

Internally  GBS Porto : credit, claims, Account operations, billing, customer data  Tax and Accounting   FP&A  Local Account operations and sales teams  Legal Department  Market Senior Credit Managers 

 

Externally  All Iberia customer accounts  Lawyer, Collection agencies, Insolvency Administrators 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

Advanced analytical and organizational skills backed by strong collaboration and communication skills to be able to work with cross functional teams. Solid knowledge of Accounts Receivables Customer orientation and ability to work with cross functional teams. 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

Degree in business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related filed  Minimum of 2 years working experience in Risk Management / Credit Management respective area  Oral and written fluency in English (C1 level) and Spanish Advanced Microsoft Office skills  SAP knowledge will be a plus
