Here you’ll find challenges that excite you and development opportunities to build a lifelong career. **About The Position** : Caterpillar Financial currently has an opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join the Finance team, located in Tullamarine. **Some of your key responsibilities will include;** + Reviews the credit history, profitability and liquidity of clients to assess the risk level involved in credit extension or money lending. + Consults with customers to verify financial and credit transactions; responds to customer inquiries and resolves customer complaints. + Communicates with credit associations and other relevant authorities about the credit history of customers. + Analyses financial data to determine customers' risk profile for commercial loans; recommends approval or denial of loan applications. **Key Skills Required:** + **Finance and Accounting:** Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. + **Service Excellence:** Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner + **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. + **Analytical Thinking:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. + **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. + **Credit Analysis and Verification:** Knowledge of credit analysis and verification; ability to utilize tools and techniques to determine the credit-worthiness of an applicant. + **Financial Statement Analysis:** Knowledge of financial statement and balance sheet; ability to analyze financial statement data and determine the credit-worthiness of a business enterprise. + **Loan Origination:** Knowledge of the skills, methods and technologies used to process new loan applications; ability to perform loan origination activities while adhering to established policies and procedures. **Qualifications:** + A university degree in Finance and/or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry working experience **Posting Dates:** March 6, 2025 - March 19, 2025 Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
