Credit Analyst II

The Credit team is dynamic and well-respected. The team has a strong reputation established by knowledgeable team members who deliver timely management and proactive reviews of the accounts receivable portfolio. We have great relationships with our external customers as well as internal leaders and teams across the company. We work with our various divisions to maximize profit while insuring appropriate risk level of the accounts receivable asset.

This position is located in downtown Seattle at Weyerhaeuser’s corporate headquarters. Employees based at headquarters must currently work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and may work from home on Mondays and Fridays if desired.

In this role, you will:

Monitor and manage a receivable portfolio while enforcing corporate and business policies and procedures. Provide professional credit management support to the Wood Products business locations and sales teams to help in meeting business goals.

Key Functions:

Establish and maintain unsecured credit limits of up to $500,000 to facilitate the sale of products to third-party customers.Protect the receivable asset through consistent use of effective collection techniques, and securities where appropriate, to ensure timely payments.Handle credit and collection situations using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Work with third party collection agencies and manage insolvency/bankruptcy situations.Work collaboratively with other team members.Travel and customer visits as required.

Qualifications desired:

Knowledge of business law and bankruptcy law.Ability to lead and coach others.Successful completion of credit analysis/management courses.SAP experience.

What We Offer:

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $56,500- $84,800 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5%of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
