As Credit and Collections manager, you will liaise with our international customers, our Commercial teams and banks. With production sites in Europe and North America; and Sales offices across the globe, you will be working and collaborating internationally.
This position is part of the Finance team located in the US (Sterling) or Europe (Delft) and will be based on a hybrid basis reporting into the Global Commercial Finance Director.
Key responsibilities
•
Monitoring Outstanding Receivables: Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger for international and domestic customers. Prepare aging reports and regularly follow up on overdue accounts.

Collections Management: Perform timely cash application of incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts. Contacting customers to follow up on overdue payments. Developing and implementing effective collections strategies and negotiation of payment plans or settlements with customers.

Credit Risk Management: Analyze payment patterns, identify potential credit risks, and escalate issues as necessary. Ensure compliance with company credit policies and applicable accounting standards.

Business Partner: Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes, short payments and or billing discrepancies.

Reconciliation and Reporting: Support month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and reporting.
•
DVM: Drive daily visual Management and create and implement standardized policies and procedures for cash collection across regions.
•
Customer Relationship Management: Liaise with external customers professionally and build strong working relationships to facilitate collections.

The essential requirements of the job include:
• 5+ of experience in cash collection, or credit control, ideally with a global scope
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Economics. Understanding of US GAAP, or similar standards for receivables and revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with international payment terms and global financial regulations.
• Proven ability to work across departments such as sales, IT and finance.
• Have advanced skills in Excel and automated financial systems
• Have a good command in English language, verbally and in writing. German language is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or drive cross-departmental initiatives.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $68,000 - $78,000 USD per year.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
