This position is responsible for managing various aspects of Order to Cash, including DSO Forecast, Cash Forecasting, M&A activity, credit services, as well as supporting/managing the various 3rd party applications utilized by Order to Cash. This role will report to Credit Revenue Partner, North America. More specifically the incumbent is responsible for the management of the credit services team, the implementation of credit policy, monitoring and reporting the company's credit exposure, management of financial evaluation systems and risk management models. In addition, this position is responsible for implementing procedures to minimize credit losses and maximize cash flow while maintaining appropriate customer service in the order-to-cash process while establishing simplification and efficiencies. This position is also responsible for the inbound cash flow forecasting, DSO review and achievement of corporate cash flow objectives and building/improving customer relationships with key accounts. This role will also support the hub model, ensuring O2C KPI’s are monitored. This role will also act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and O2C.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage escalations across end-to-end Order to Cash process for local and hub teams.

Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and present ideas to O2C leadership.

Analyze current financial and markets trends to anticipate problem areas and to initiate preventive measures to avoid problems. Provides O2C team with direction and guidance to meet O2C priorities, and the needs of key stakeholders and Sanofi’s patients.

Manages team to help support/enhance collections procedures, KPI’s, ERP systems, reporting and relationships with key stakeholders.

Operate at the local SME related to O2C Credit policy, including managing relationship with Experian.

Troubleshoot issues impacting O2C and develop root cause analysis with neighboring functions.

Maintain and control financial systems within the order-to-cash cycle, e.g. credit check routines, EDI with customers, chargeback processing, Risk Management software.  Pursue continued improvement in automation technologies to minimize cost of the department.

Manage and review monthly DSO process with Global Treasury and stakeholders.

Help prepare the DSO forecasting process for T1/T2 and budget scenarios.

Review NA account reconciliations in Blackline and Financial Disclosures.

Implement and be accountable for review of cash forecasting models, forecast & budget accuracy and achievement of cash flow objectives and DSO.

Lead local credit committee to present relevant O2C topics to Finance, Trade, Supply Chain, North America and Group Treasury.

Liaison with key internal and external stakeholders:

Establish relationship with GPO/GPL team to ensure North America operations remain optimized. Including review of iSHIFT/Core Model changes with North America priority focused.

SP and Sanofi global Treasury Groups on policy and objectives.

Attorneys, 3rd party collection agencies and Dun & Bradstreet on industry data and services.

About You

Qualifications:

4-year degree Accounting or Finance preferred not required (other degrees will be considered based on professional experience)

3+ years' experience within finance setting (preferred)

The incumbent will need to be able to work productively and efficiently in a cross-functional environment and must have a working knowledge of those areas in order to successfully execute the Business Operations plan.  

The incumbent must have strong people management skills, process improvement skills, project management skills, time management skills, and analytical skills. 

He/she needs to have or a strong understanding of the business along with a background in credit services.

The salary range for this position is:

$108,750.00 - $157,083.33
