The position is responsible for report preparation, reviews, application scheduling, and other credit-related controls. This role also involves performing credit reviews and applications for customers, including the production of credit applications, credit reviews, and credit grading. The position requires thorough and accurate analysis and assessment of the creditworthiness of the bank’s customers. Additionally, during the credit analysis process, the hire will review and ensure compliance with all covenants, terms, and conditions of the credit, as well as review all associated documentation and collateral. Responsibilities: + Prepare timely and accurate credit applications for annual reviews, renewals of existing customers, and ad-hoc monitoring, including the preparation of related financial models, stress testing of those models, and analyses of customers’ financial information and industry conditions. + Analyze borrowers’/potential borrowers’ financial statements, industry trends, and economic conditions, prepare long-term projections, assess risk, and compile credit applications to a high-quality standard. + Perform thorough investigations and exercise sound judgment in analyzing and assessing the risks associated with the bank’s investments, constantly adhering to the proper application of the bank’s credit granting policies and procedures, banking regulations, and best practices. + Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports on borrowers (facilities and exposure, etc.) to circulate to the Department Head, Account Officers, and Management. + Monitor, control, and inform Account Officers of credit-related trigger events and financial releases of customers in a timely manner. + Investigate, research, and discuss borrower requirements and transactions with deal administrators and account managers related to credit applications. + Respond to relevant Credit Department pre-approved requests by investigating and assessing validity with respect to changes in conditions in a bilateral loan, to protect the bank’s position and preserve credit quality. + Coordinate with account managers or customers on financial reports and other specific requirements. + Prepare and provide special reports on borrowers and industry research upon request by the Department Head or Account Officers. + Assist the Department Head in completing special projects as requested. + Ensure full compliance with all the bank’s policies and procedures, including Anti-Money Laundering policies, and the requirements of the relevant regulatory bodies.
