The Credit Business Change Support Consultant would interface between Credit and Collections business operations and multiple organizations within Eversource that support IT, communications, regulatory compliance, and customer care. Responsibilities include the coordination with these teams to participate in the design, testing, and implementation of changes and enhancements related to Credit and Collections programs in various customer information systems such as C2, CACS, Omni, and web portal applications.
This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.
Essential Functions:
Participates in administrative duties such as: project scope, define/work planning & scheduling, specifications development, system test planning, development of related communications and implementation of system(s) related releases associated with regulatory projects or compliance requests in the Credit area.Develops and monitors status reports for periodic update meetings.Oversee the preparation and finalization of requirements, definitions and deliverables associated Credit and Collections communications (letters, emails and bill print for Credit customer changes)Coordinate communication flow between design, maintenance, and training groups.Participate and assist with the scheduling, coordination, User Acceptance Testing, and implementation of changes into the production system.Monitors and reviews the critical path assignments to maintain project schedule and adjusts project priorities based on management directives.Reviews and recommends adjustments to policies, procedures, standards, and instructions relating to system wide business activities reflecting changes to any of the Customer Group applications.Evaluates user needs against current system capabilities and works with IT representatives on the analysis, design and testing of functionality and ensuring that ICT facilities meet these needs.Qualifications
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of Billing, Credit and Collections and internal management portal systems.Knowledge of computer hardware/software concepts and operations including both mainframe and personal computers.Thorough understanding of or an ability to acquire a thorough understanding of CE organization, goals, objectives, and philosophies.Ability to gather and analyze complex information, determines facts, make recommendations and appropriate decisions, and initiate action accordingly.Knowledge of basic project management processes and terminology and the ability to plan coordinate and execute diverse project type assignments.Ability to effectively represent Credit and Collections and Eversource before internal and external groups including government officials, agencies and similar groups.Ability to work effectively under the pressure of severe time restraints.Ability to work with all levels of Eversource management.Strong oral and written communication skillsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience / business / utility experience in related discipline is required.Experience:
Three (3) plus years related work experience preferably working with IT systems, analytical models, or project management.Compensation and Benefits:
