Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Credit & Collections Analyst to join our team and help ensure the financial health of our organization.
As a Credit & Collections Analyst, you will play a crucial role in credit evaluation and collections. Your expertise will help manage financial risk, ensure timely payments, and maintain strong relationships with customers.
This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage accounts and resolve payment issues.
Responsibilities:
Review and process intermediate credit applications and provide recommendations for approval.
Resolve more complex billing inquiries and discrepancies with customers.
Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, initiating collection actions.
Prepare and distribute invoices and financial statements.
Conduct routine credit checks and monitor credit limits.
Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and generate summary reports.
Coordinate with other departments to address and resolve billing and credit discrepancies.
Assist in negotiating repayment plans with customers.
Support the credit and collections team with data analysis.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of experience as credit collector or a related field.
Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Fluency English, fluency in French is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
