About The Team

What You Will Be Doing

 

Engage with customers to ensure prompt payment of invoices and address any disputes or inquiries. Document payment commitments and maintain accurate records within the system. Identify and allocate payments, ensuring cash is posted accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with the cash application team to streamline remittance advice processes. Manage disputes, payment plans, and adjustments while escalating critical issues to senior management. Proactively seek solutions to improve collection processes and customer satisfaction. Forecast cash flows to support financial planning and organizational goals. Support team initiatives and adapt workload effectively to meet departmental priorities.

 

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have

 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and internal teams. Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or similar financial roles. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying solutions. Strong analytical skills, including cash flow forecasting and payment allocation. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in ERP and financial software; experience with Microsoft Excel and CRM tools. Able to handle customer disputes with professionalism and diplomacy. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

 

Roadmap for Success

 

First 90 Days: Complete onboarding and training, focusing on Ivanti's systems and processes. Familiarize yourself with customer accounts and outstanding invoices. Establish communication channels with key internal stakeholders and the cash application team. Begin to engage with customers to understand their payment processes and any existing disputes. Set up a tracking system for follow-ups on past due accounts. Identify and document common billing disputes and develop strategies for resolution. First 6 Months: Achieve a measurable reduction in overdue accounts through proactive contact and follow-ups. Enhance cash application procedures by identifying process improvement opportunities. Regularly forecast cash flows to aid in financial planning and reporting. Develop a rapport with customers and address recurring issues efficiently. Complete initial reviews and adjustments of payment plans and write-offs. Collaborate on team initiatives and contribute to the collections strategy discussions. First 12 Months: Demonstrate a consistent track record of timely collections and customer satisfaction. Lead initiatives to streamline communications and processes between departments for resolving disputes. Document best practices and create training materials for new team members. Participate in regular reviews of KPIs and use data to support process enhancements. Actively escalate significant issues and collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic solutions. Contribute to an engaging team culture by supporting and mentoring colleagues.
