Credit/Collections Coordinator I

Job Summary

To ensure that all debts are collected in a timely manner on Exhibitions prior to show open date. Ensure Supervisor and Exhibition Management are kept informed throughout the process.

Accountabilities: 

Debt Collection

Telephone chasing of past and future debts on designated exhibitionsEnsure follow up calls and collection plan dates are diarisedIssuing Statements and Dunning letters on designated exhibitionsChasing debts by email and faxAttendance at shows as required

Debtor Reporting

Produce weekly spreadsheet debtors across designated shows for exhibition teamsProduce daily updates in the two week run up to show openingProduce monthly reports of outstanding debts pre and post show

Communication

Liase with exhibition teams on a regular basis to ensure they are kept informed and involved with debt collection as appropriateArrange and attend team pre-show meetings 6 wk's prior to show openingProduce and distribute Show Collection Plan to teams

Adhoc Duties

Pursue and process Contra Deal paperworkRaise journals to clear credit balances post showClear down bank charges etc, pre showRaise adhoc journals as requiredProduce paperwork for refund of overpaymentsApply un-allocated cash to designated shows weekly

Policy Compliance

Ensuring credit control policy procedures are adhered toEnsure VOT’s are supplied where necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree At least 2-4 years of experience in Credit and CollectionsExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Preferably has an experience working in a BPO/Shared Services companyWilling to work on a mid-shift schedule and hybrid work setup
