Credit/Collections Coordinator I

The Credit and Collections Specialist will investigate credit applications and approves applications within established guidelines for companies and individuals.

Accountabilities:

Debt Collection

Telephone chasing of past and future debts on designated exhibitionsEnsure follow up calls and collection plan dates are diarisedIssuing Statements and Dunning letters on designated exhibitionsEmail chasing of debts on designated exhibitions

Debtor Reporting

Produce weekly spreadsheet debtors across designated shows for exhibition teamsProduce daily updates in the two week run up to show openingProduce monthly reports of outstanding debts pre and post show

Communication

Liase with exhibition teams on a regular basis to ensure they are kept informed and involved with debt collection as appropriateArrange and attend team pre-show meetings 6 wk's prior to show openingProduce and distribute Show Collection Plan to teams

Adhoc Duties

Pursue and process Contra Deal paperworkRaise journals to clear credit balances post showClear down bank charges etc, pre showRaise adhoc journals as requiredProduce paperwork for refund of overpaymentsApply un-allocated cash to designated shows weekly

Ensuring credit control policy procedures are adhered to

Qualifications:

Must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy or FinanceMust have at least 1-2 years of relevant work experienceMust be willing to work in Mid-shiftExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDeadline-driven and attention to detailStrong commitment to performance and team success
