Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and modify customer master data to data standards
• Research, append, and remove duplicate customer record
• Conduct master data audits on existing and newly set up customers
• Work with Global Process Owner and business areas to improve master data processes
• Assist with writing documentation as needed for customer master training, policies, standards, controls and procedures and train accordingly
• Work with business units and process experts to resolve master data issues
• Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of master data across business systems
• Leverage SAP and other source systems to maintain quality customer data
• Other responsibilities as determined by supervisor
Skills Required:
• This position interacts with various levels of personnel both inside and outside the company. That interaction requires good communication skills and judgement, tact and diplomacy with internal and external customers in troubleshooting problems and communicating status.
• Effectiveness in this role requires a thorough working knowledge of relevant accounting systems, policies and procedures.
• Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position. Initiative and organisation skills are valuable to ensure the timely completion of a large volume of work. System knowledge is essential to perform this role effectively and efficiently.
• A commitment to customer service is essential and a strong sense of urgency, but should not compromise accuracy for expediency
• Strong problem solving skills


Education & Experience:
• Must demonstrate excellent computer skills; relevant software application proficiency strongly preferred.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy required
• Experience in SAP is a plus
