Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re a Credit and Collections Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position reports to the Accounting Shared Services Supervisor. The duties of a Credit and Collections Specialist include approving credit limits for new customers and initiating collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced, goal-oriented collections department.

What You Will Be Doing 

Investigate and analyze credit applications and approve credit limits within established company guidelines by utilizing Dun & Bradstreet to determine financial stability

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts--customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos

Identify and post daily cash from customers and collection of overdue accounts. Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due

Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts

Process monthly credit memos and provide appropriate weekly/monthly reporting to manager

What We Are Looking For 

High School Diploma required

Associate's degree preferred

2-5 years' experience in a high-volume corporate collections experience required

SAP experience is a plus

Solid knowledge of billing and collection practices

Strong attention to detail and demonstrated consistent accuracy

Commitment to excellent customer service

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

Commitment to excellent customer service skills

Proficient knowledge working in a large ERP system (i.e., SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and Adobe pdf
