Credit/ Collections Supervisor/Manager
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Credit/Collections Supervisor/Analyst in Burlington, Washington. The primary function of this role is to oversee and manage credit limits and collections procedures within our organization. Responsibilities: • Evaluate and establish appropriate credit limits and approval/denial guidelines • Analyze accounts to identify any irregularities or issues • Implement effective collections procedures to manage past due accounts • Maintain precise records of all credit and collections activities • Use Microsoft Excel to generate detailed reports on credit and collections operations • Work closely with the Accounts Receivable (AR) team to ensure all financial data is accurate • Proactively manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues or disputes • Monitor customer accounts regularly for any changes or updates • Continuously improve processes and procedures related to credit and collections operations. Requirements • Proven experience as a Credit/Collections Supervisor or Manager • Demonstrated knowledge of credit limit setting and management • Proficiency in collections, with a focus on ensuring timely payments while maintaining high customer satisfaction • Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, cash posting, and dispute resolution • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and generate reports • Capable of interpreting and analyzing financial data • Ability to lead and supervise a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to credit and collections • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferable.
