As an Executive Director Credit Default Swaps (CDS) Index Tranche Trader, you will become a vital part of our industry-leading trading team. Our team is responsible for a diverse range of products, including CDS Indices, Options, ETFs, TRS, and Tranches. As a member of our global credit trading organization, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with sales, structuring, and technology teams to deliver exceptional results.

Job Responsibilities

Actively market-make CDS Index Tranches to institutional clients, ensuring competitive pricing and liquidity. Collaborate with sales and structuring teams to enhance distribution strategies and strengthen client relationships. Support market-making activities for other macro credit products, contributing to the overall success of the trading desk. Lead initiatives with technology and quantitative research teams to develop advanced pricing and analytics tools for CDX tranches.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trading CDS Index Tranches. Strong understanding of macro credit products, including on/off-the-run indices, options, TRS, and ETFs. Excellent presentation and marketing skills for both internal and external audiences. Proven ability to lead and collaborate with technology and support teams. Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Relevant certifications: SIE, Series 7, 55, CFTC Swaps Certification.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Proficiency in coding, with a preference for Python, to support trading and analytics initiatives.
