At JPMorgan Chase we take pride in valuing our employees' individualities, while supporting an inclusive culture of teamwork. **Job Summary:** As a Confidentiality Agreement Negotiator/Gatekeeper Associate within Credit Information Management (CIM), you will be responsible for the preparation, negotiation, and execution of confidentiality agreements with external trading counterparties in the secondary loan trading and bankruptcy claims trading markets. While utilizing effective communication skills it is important to focus on collaboration with sales, legal, and the trading desk when appropriate. Credit Information Management (CIM) is a team within Wholesale Lending Services. In this position you will act as a "gatekeeper" who is responsible for the management of confidential information pursuant to internal information barriers and in close coordination with Legal, Compliance, Trading and Research teams, as appropriate. **Job Responsibilities:** • Collaborate with Sales Trading and Legal to draft confidentiality agreements relating to secondary loan trading and claims trading matters. • Manage the agreement process and coordinate with Legal, Sales and Trading for any required negotiation with clients • Engage Sales, Trading and external clients regarding questions or status inquiries relating to confidentiality agreements • Source and prepare information for distribution to clients pursuant to executed confidentiality agreements. This includes preparing and updating web-based due diligence virtual data rooms and granting access to information • Act as a Gatekeeper by actively reviewing and screening information to ascertain appropriateness for public-side Sales & Trading personnel in compliance with information barriers **Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** • Bachelor's degree • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) • 3 years of relevant financial operational experience • Excellent negotiation and communication skills + Proven ability to collaborate with team members and senior management across and within the lines of business with a keen attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, strong control- focused mindset and strong analytical capability • Highly organized with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and competing priorities • Highly motivated individual with a team - oriented mindset with effective communication and leadership skills • Critical decision-making abilities including the ability to identify, escalate, and propose solutions to issues + Meticulous mindset with the ability to multi-task through the practice of strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to learn quickly, self-motivate, and demonstrate a strong work ethic **Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** + Juris Doctor Degree + Experience reading and interpreting loan documentation such as Credit Agreements + Experience dealing with legal documentation such as Confidentiality agreements + Knowledge of the Syndicated Loan business and LSTA standards + Knowledge of Virtual Datarooms such as Intralinks, Debtdomain, Syndtrak + Financial industry work related experience JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
