Job Description

Credit Management Team Lead

Location: Katowice - Francuska 46 - hybrid

Reporting to: O2C Manager

About the Role:

As the Credit Management Team Lead, you will lead the daily operations of our credit and collections team. You will help ensure the collection of payments, managing risk, and maintaining relationships with our Direct Customers from North America.

Your Responsibilities:Monitor and improve collections activities to ensure timely payments.Manage risk by overseeing credit lines, order releases, collections, and disputes.Be a focal point for team members and escalate issues.Manage daily operations, including payment collection and reconciliationReconcile customer accounts to identify disputes, overpayments, and produce journal entries.Communicate with sales, service, and branch personnel to resolve customer disputes.Make decisions regarding disputed items and write-offs.Classify past due accounts for monthly reporting to management.Make recommendations on potentially uncollectible accounts.Motivate and empower the team to achieve targets and performance standards.Allocate tasks and manage team competencies to meet all needs.Foster a positive work culture through personal interactions, team building, and development.Review and assess individual performance, provide coaching, and support continuous learning.Participate in hiring, evaluation, and one-on-one meetings with team members.Maintain and improve data quality and integrity.Participate in programs and continuous improvement projects.

The Essentials - You Will Have:Financial accounting knowledge (experience or education)Minimum 2 years of experience in finance (accounting/credit collection)Relevant University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldFluent EnglishProficiency in SAP
