Description
We are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing credit and collections operations, ensuring efficient management of client accounts, and mitigating financial risks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by implementing effective credit policies and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the creditworthiness of clients and establish appropriate credit limits.
• Oversee the billing and collections process to ensure timely payments and minimize overdue accounts.
• Monitor and manage outstanding debts while developing strategies for debt recovery.
• Develop and implement credit policies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce financial risk.
• Conduct thorough credit analyses to assess financial risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all credit-related activities.
• Prepare regular reports on credit performance and present findings to management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the credit and collections function.
• Provide guidance and support to team members regarding credit policies and procedures.
Requirements • Proven experience in credit management, including collections and credit analysis.
• Strong knowledge of billing and collections processes.
• Ability to assess credit risk and set appropriate credit limits.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing credit policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and internal teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in credit-related activities.
