Description We are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing credit and collections operations, ensuring efficient management of client accounts, and mitigating financial risks. Responsibilities: • Evaluate the creditworthiness of clients and establish appropriate credit limits. • Oversee the billing and collections process to ensure timely payments and minimize overdue accounts. • Monitor and manage outstanding debts while developing strategies for debt recovery. • Develop and implement credit policies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce financial risk. • Conduct thorough credit analyses to assess financial risks and opportunities. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all credit-related activities. • Prepare regular reports on credit performance and present findings to management. • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the credit and collections function. • Provide guidance and support to team members regarding credit policies and procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in credit management, including collections and credit analysis. • Strong knowledge of billing and collections processes. • Ability to assess credit risk and set appropriate credit limits. • Familiarity with developing and implementing credit policies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and internal teams. • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in credit-related activities.
