Credit Manager

Responsibilities

Conducts credit assessment and approval of credit applications of merchants ranging

from SME to Global Multinational names

Prepares comprehensive credit reporting on regional deals/accounts beyond individual

approval authority to Executive Management for approval

Conducts periodic reviews and checks of credit team to ensure adherence to prevailing

credit policies and guidelines

Liaise with various parties to consider various risks in approval process

Ensures the timely periodic re-underwriting of merchants

Monitors portfolio quality on an ongoing basis and recommend rating and collateral actions, make recommendations on how to improve the quality of portfolio.

Lead the Portfolio database management of the team

Manages post approval recording/monitoring and general risk portfolio management

Works with Worldwide Credit in establishing and updating sound, acceptable Credit Policies

Assists in streamlining process to achieve effective credit risk controls

Provide support and training of less experienced Credit Analysts

Partners with the Sales Team to drive business results and promote consistent execution between various groups

Other job responsibilities and adhoc projects as needed and as assigned

Willing to Travel.

Qualifications:

Typically minimum 5 years relevant experience in finance/accounting or similar position required, including a minimum of 2 years experience as a Credit Analyst.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Business; a major which emphasizes mathematical and analytical skills.

Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in their own area of expertise.

Supervision - Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
