As a Credit Officer for Roche Diagnostics Australia (RDA), you will:

Ensure the liquidity of RDA & improve cash flow

Minimize the credit risk by managing the volume and the outstanding period of accounts receivables

Customer master data maintenance including credit limit reviews

Proactively support sales and marketing objectives

Contribute to the profitability of RDA

Measure compliance and performance of accounts receivable volume and aging towards rolling forecast goals

Ensure company compliance to Credit Management Policy

What you will be working on:

Your responsibilities include but not be limited to:

Manage Debtor Relationships & Credit Management

Monitor collection performance & make contacts as required to ensure customers pay as expected

Setting of appropriate credit limits & their regular review according to normal trading patterns & the Credit Policy

Controls adhered to for requesting & processing credit notes

Recommend policy & action on bad debts & recommend actions to manage debt beyond normal credit terms

Ensure that extension of credit facilities, classification of risk categories, credit limit reviews, credit hold monitoring, collection procedures & reporting are all performed according to Credit Management Policy

Claim investigation and credit note processing for overcharges

Reporting & Data Maintenance

Ensure all reports are accurately processed & delivered according to distribution lists & timelines

SAP customer hierarchy set up and maintenance, and REXIS hierarchy management

Local Export Control Officer (LECO)

Implement the company’s (Export Management Control Program) EMCP on site with a special focus on the Export Control (EC) training program

Escalates issues to the concerned authority in any case of red flags, suspected misuse of items, non-compliance violations, or any local enforcement activities by federal agencies. 

Policy Compliance & SHE

Compliance with company guidelines, Roche Code of Conduct and Industry Code/s of Practice

Ensure compliance and promotion of all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of all employees and visitors

All work practices at any Roche Diagnostics Australia designated workplace are coordinated in a safe manner using any necessary risk assessment processes and tools.

Who you are:

You are a customer and result driven accounting professional with a flexible and proactive mindset. With your excellent communication and interpersonal skills you demonstrate strong collection call technique. You have:

A Bachelor's degree within the business/finance/accounting related field or equivalentDemonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable functionSAP experience is a plusFast and accurate data entry skills and are good at reconciliation

This North Ryde based Part-time (0.8 FTE) role is only open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in Australia as  Visa sponsiorship and relocation support is not available for this role.
