Position Overview:

The Credit Specialist is an excellent communicator who drives efficiency and loves teamwork. You will be working with key internal and external stakeholders to protect the financial position of our company through the timely collection of receivable balances and minimizing bad debt risk.

What will YOU do?

Monitor accounts receivable aging and engage with customers developing strategies to optimize timely collectionsTrouble shoot any invoice discrepancy and process gaps in the order to cash cycleEstablish strong network with key internal/external stakeholders, promoting quality partnership and process efficiencyAssess order release based on aging conditions and credit limit while considering customer relationship and business potentialAssess customer credit condition and assign risk ratings and credit limits within authority level or recommends limits that exceed authorityCollaborate with sales and customers to mitigate marginal risk situationsWork towards AR KPIs/TargetsParticipate in Accounts Receivable and Finance related process/performance improvement change.

Minimum Requirements:  

College Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business-related discipline.SAP A/R System experienceKnowledge of financial analysis and credit risk assessment.2 or more years of business office experience.Accounts Receivable Experience.Demonstrated English written & verbal communication skills; fluency in additional languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish, (…) would be an asset.Ability to work independently and as a team member.Business communication skills/experience contacting customers.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Requirements:

College Degree in Business, Finance or AccountingSAP A/R System experienceAccounts Receivable Experience
