Credit Risk Limit Monitoring Vice President
The Credit Risk Limit Monitoring Vice President is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. **Responsibilities:** + Serves as point of contact for Operations staff for Control related activities. + Provides guidance in evaluating risks & implementing appropriate controls, including ensuring appropriate remedial actions are in place where deficiencies are identified. + Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the limit monitoring process and procedures to senior stakeholders and/or other team members. + Participates in evaluating; Strategic & Tactical Change; Policy and Process updates; Regulatory requirements etc. + Supports to Internal and External Control organizations (Internal/external audit, Regulatory, control self-assessment, Compliance, Finance etc.). + Provides Management / Oversight of Corrective Action Plan remediation process if any. + Reviews guidelines and regulations issued from time to time and ensure that gaps are remediated. + Works in partnership with stakeholders including Risk, UW, Business, Legal and Product. + Oversees regulatory reporting tasks and ensure controls surrounding report submissions are robust for accurate and timely submissions. Enhance productivity through automations. + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. **Qualifications:** + 6-10 years relevant experience. + Knowledge of credit policies, guidelines and procedures surrounding extensions of credit. + Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office/Tableau with numerical skills and attention to details. + Knowledgeable in financial instruments. + Demonstrated strong execution capabilities. + Advanced English.
