Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for financial analysis and risk management? We’re seeking a proactive and analytical Associate Director to join our Counterparty Credit Risk Control team in Tokyo. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise to:
• Assess Counterparty Credit Risk: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of counterparty credit risk by analyzing both quantitative and qualitative factors. This includes performing fundamental credit analysis to recommend internal ratings and credit limits.
• Evaluate Exposure and Risks: Analyze counterparty exposure and transactional risks related to trading activities across OTC and Cleared Derivatives, Financing as well as Trade Finance products across Fixed Income and Equity markets.
• Prepare Credit Proposals: Develop detailed credit proposals and reviews, drawing insights on credit assessment, risk appetite, exposure drivers, and business prospects.
• Conduct Due Diligence: Interact with counterparties to gather necessary information, conduct due diligence calls or meetings, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Negotiate Trading Documentation: Engage in the negotiation and review of trading documentation.
• Monitor Credit Exposures: Oversee day-to-day credit exposures against approved limits and similar parameters.
• Perform Ad Hoc Analysis: Carry out additional credit risk analysis and portfolio assessments as needed.
