Credit Risk Specialist - Collections Risk Strategy

In this role, you will:

Create, maintain and champion an environment where there is a high degree of transparencyDemonstrate a strong understanding of risk management and methodology for identification and controls across all risk typesDemonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsEffectively work on a high diverse team who are geographically dispersed across multiple time zones located in the US, India and Philippines.Participate in less complex initiatives and identify opportunity for risk mitigation strategies within Credit RiskLead, develop, and implement strategic initiatives and processes to drive the company credit culture, appetite, and business performanceReview and analyze reports to assess and predict risk and monitor performance that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverablesReceive direction from leadersExercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal customersWillingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Collections or Recovery work experience in operation or credit risk

Strong educational credentials with an M.B.A. or master’s degree preferredRisk professional with an understanding of various risk types (compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management)Outstanding quantitative and critical thinking abilitiesInnovative problem solverAbility to meet stringent deadlinesStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentAdvanced Microsoft Office skills

Job Expectations:
