Job Requisition: Credit Services Team Leader
Location: Shared Services Center, Warsaw, Poland (onsite)
Grade: 11 – Finance Senior Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Credit Services Team Leader to oversee our credit operations within the Shared Services Center in Warsaw. This role will lead a team of Credit Analysts to assess and manage customer credit risk, optimize accounts receivable performance, and contribute to the financial health of our global software organization. Global Credit Services Process Owner, the Credit Services Team Leader will focus on maintaining effective credit management processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Credit Analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the effective management of credit and collections.
• Credit Assessment Oversight: Oversee the review and evaluation of customer creditworthiness, including approval of credit limits, ensuring adherence to company risk policies.
• Performance Monitoring: Track team performance metrics, including credit approvals, accounts receivable aging, and collections efficiency, while implementing improvements to achieve performance goals.
• Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline credit processes, enhance risk management practices, and improve collections effectiveness in collaboration with other departments.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all credit management activities comply with company policies, audit requirements, and industry regulations; provide regular reporting and analysis on credit portfolio performance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to provide insights, facilitate approvals, and support broader business objectives.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CCE) is a plus.
• Experience: 9-11 years in credit management, credit analysis, or accounts receivable.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and collections processes.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and credit management software.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development and performance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
• Language: Fluent in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a technology or software company.
• Knowledge of credit agencies and external credit reporting tools.
· At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment
