Summary

As a Credit Specialist at RNDC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization by managing the credit and risk associated with our customers. You will be responsible for analyzing customer credit applications, managing credit terms, and collaborating with internal departments to mitigate risks and maximize revenue opportunities.

In this role, you will Analyze customer applications and credit backgrounds to determine creditworthiness based on pre-determined standards, minimizing risk and granting appropriate terms and credit limits. Manage new and existing credit applications, securing necessary documentation and personal guarantees to grant appropriate terms. Collaborate with customers to review, approve, and create legal documentation such as affidavits, payment plans, and other agreements. Maintain customer credit status and information, including terms, contact details, credit limits, and third-party setups. Manage credit holds and order releases, collaborating with local markets to ensure timely resolution. Assist Accounts Receivable department with managing payment plans and terms. Identify and tag escrow accounts accordingly, such as customer deposit accounts with specific terms and conditions. Manage the bad debt reserve, preparing accounts for write-off and utilizing financial models to define and gauge bad debt reserves. Provide expertise in credit and risk management, collaborating with internal departments to address financial interests and resolve issues. Lead cross-functional efforts to address inquiries from drivers, key account representatives, customers, and sales teams regarding terms, pricing, and available credits.
  What you bring to RNDC High School diploma required; Associates degree or higher preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a job-related role. Knowledge of accounting software such as Oracle AR. Proficiency in internet software, including browsers and search engines. Experience with spreadsheet software, particularly Microsoft products. Familiarity with miscellaneous software including 9ci, Salesforce, CCAAS, Experian, Fintech, Icontol, and banking software.
