Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain relationships with the business to ensure mitigated risk on incoming and existing accounts.
• Identify escalation opportunities to ensure integrity of credit limits.
• Maintain the accuracy of the information retained for those customers, terms, customer defined.
• Seek new ideas to improve efficiency in accomplishing work.
• Read and interpret various credit reporting tools.
• Manage bankruptcy files.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and directives from management.
• Mentor a team, foster a team culture and develop an environment of continuous process improvement, best-in-class credit.
• Ensure Credit team performs timely within their job function to meet credit objectives.
• Resolve escalated customer account issues related to credit limit overages.
• Monitor customer accounts irregularities and missing information.
• Produce and distribute monthly reports.
• Lead monthly meetings with Credit team to discuss credit status and resolve outstanding issues.
• Update senior management on credit concerns that arise.
• Ensure customer accounts are suspended/reinstated as applicable.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and directives from senior management.
• Ability to adapt to change and learn new processes as the business evolves/develops.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
• Support M&A and integration activities impacting credit.
• Maintain and develop relationships with national, large customer accounts.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Moderate Excel experience.
• Reporting agency report knowledge.
• Internal/external customer service skills.
Requirements:
• Workday or other combined ERP software
• Reporting Agency background knowledge
• CCP is considered an asset.
