Reports to: Crew Operations Executive

As part of the Crew Operations team in our Flight Operations Department, you will join the team to support the deployment of flight crew and cabin crew within Cathay and Air Hong Kong.

Crew operations team is within Flight Operation’s Crew Resources section, which is central to the day to day operation of the airline. It is an important function that contributes to the airline’s success, which offers tremendous insight into the airline’s operation.

Key Responsibilities
Maximise crew satisfaction by ensuring operational requirements are met legally and cost effectivelyContribute to the overall performance and continuous improvement process of the teamResponsible for workforce reassignment in Crew Operations, flight crew training; and the Crew Resources deskRotate to the different streams with the aim to further enhance job knowledge and skills in crew resource management subject to business requirementsHandle real time operational problems and provide sensible and logical solutionsMaintaining technical knowledge requiredRequirements
HKDSE: Minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 NSS subjects including English Language (“attained” for APL subjects or Grade E for other language subjects) OR A minimum of HKCEE standard with a pass or Grade 2 in English (Syllabus B)Customer-focused, highly change-oriented and flexible personalityGood interpersonal and communication skills with polished telephone mannerStrong analytical ability and a good team playerFluent in spoken English and Cantonese Willingness to perform shift duties (includes weekends, public holidays and overnight) and ability to work under pressureMinimum of 2 years’ airline experience with understanding of Cathay policy/objectives is beneficialKnowledge of industrial and CAD rules & regulations and airline schedules would be advantageousPersonal & Application Information
