Criminal Intelligence Analyst
Syntelligent Analytic Solutions, LLC provides uniquely qualified personnel with the expertise and tools needed to fulfill our customers’ management and technical requirements in the intelligence, defense, homeland security and commercial market space.  ​  ​ Our customers’ and Syntelligent’s success are built upon the core values of People First, Integrity & Accountability, Mission Driven, Community Focus and Team Oriented.    Responsibilities: Syntelligent is seeking a Criminal Intelligence Analyst for full-time salaried positions supporting the DHS FPS Intelligence Analysis Division   Duties will include: Providing intelligence services related to the analysis, processing, development, and distribution of strategic and criminal intelligence supporting Federal Protective Services operations.   Qualifications: Required Education and Experience:   High School Diploma/GED 6 yrs Associate Degree 4 yrs Bachelor’s Degree 2 yrs Master’s degree 0 yrs   Work experience demonstrating ability to perform strategic, operational, and tactical analysis as required based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources, i.e. INTs Demonstrated ability to adhere to and apply IC analytic tradecraft standards (e.g. ICDS 203, 206, 208…) Working knowledge of (preferably hands-on experience with) databases and software programs used in the intelligence environment, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite, M3, TAC, HOTR, Google Earth, Intelink, National Exploitation System, Gemini, MIDB, GCCS-J, various message handling systems. Excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines that meets or exceeds established analytical standards. Desired Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred in International Studies, Intelligence, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or other related concentration.   Experience: Prior experience performing Open-Source Collection Intelligence Community (IC) experience desired; DHS intelligence analysis experience preferred. Experience working researching and providing evaluations for Intelligence Information Reports (IIR) Criminal Intelligence analysis experience Experience working with DHS data sources Knowledge: Knowledge of the DHS FPS intelligence authorities, DHS component missions, and the role of FPS in supporting the DHS Intelligence Enterprise; overall FPS intelligence research, analysis, and production process Specific knowledge of title 18 authorities Knowledge of multiple open-source areas including surface, deep, and dark web.  Knowledge of multiple collection techniques or approaches Knowledge of developing a collection plan and dissemination practices. Skills: Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, common Open-Source tools, and DHS data systems. Experience working researching and providing evaluations for Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)    Clearance Level Required: TS/SCI   (REQUIRED) Current Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (or higher DIE Certification) or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire (https://dodcertpmo.defense.gov/IFPC/).   Online applications, please.   The salary ranges for these positions will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
