Summary: + Assists the Admissions Office and Emergency Department with the assessment and evaluation of patients seeking psychiatric/behavioral healthcare in a managed care environment. Demonstrates competency in assessing children, adolescents and adults. Responsibilities: + Provides accurate assessment of patients requiring evaluation at the Princeton House Admissions Office and the University Medical Center at Princeton Emergency Department. Determines appropriate level of care required. Demonstrates competency in assessing children, adolescents, and adults. Demonstrates competency with suicide risk assessments and crisis intervention. Works with managed care companies to determine level of care needed by providing a clear and concise clinical picture. Facilitates the transfer of patients to Princeton House from UMCP ED, and also from UMCP ED to other facilities if required. Also assists in the transfer of patients from other facilities to Princeton House.
