Job Summary:
You will provide immediate therapeutic mobile crisis services to children and youth in the community on a 24/7 hour basis.
What You Will Do:
+ Stabilize and minimize the movement of children from one living arrangement to another
+ Manage appropriate levels of risk and crisis in the home and community
+ Assess children and/or adolescents and families at intake/admissions, during ongoing treatment, service delivery, and discharge
+ Collaborate with treatment providers to establish comprehensive assessments and service plans
+ Monitor medications intake by assessing symptoms, side effects, and medication compliance; ensure consumer follows through with prescribed medication; recommend changes in medication.
+ Provide substance abuse services, family consultation, crisis intervention, and vocational, educational, and employment services
Crisis Worker 2 Responsibilities
+ Administrative Tasks
+ Complete Quality Assurance of charts
+ Dispatch log maintenance
+ Complete Medicaid verification
+ Run crisis tracking report
+ Process Flex Fund
+ Enter benefit assignment in client record/billing software
+ Complete enrollments/discharges from client records/billing software
+ Conduct daily staff check-in and creates rotation for shift
+ Assist supervisors with managing staff work schedules and ensure shifts are covered
+ Assiss Program Managers with carrying out new initiatives and/or changes in procedure
+ Perform job responsibilities and tasks in a professional and customer friendly manner
+ Assist Supervisor in mentoring and training of new CRW I staff, as assigned
+ Review documentation (e.g. DAP's, Progress Notes, Treatment plans, etc.) before submission to NJ State's database
+ Report all trainee issues and/or concerns to the attention of trainee's supervisor in a timely manner
What We Need to See:
+ BA 2 years' experience as CRW I in good standing (Crisis Response Worker-at CarePlus or elsewhere) OR LAC/LSW/MFT 1 years' experience as CRW I in good standing.
+ Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred
+ A valid driver's license and must be insurable under the Agency's automobile insurance policy.
