Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Crisis Services Supervisor, where you will play a vital role in overseeing crisis teams and ensuring compliance with all DMH and CARF expectations. In this role, you will supervise crisis teams, provide assessment and mobile response, and monitor staff documentation to assist in required reporting. You will also represent Burrell Behavioral Health in the community, facilitating outreach and education while developing partnerships to integrate crisis services effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise crisis teams to ensure compliance with DMH and CARF expectations.
• Provide telephone and face-to-face crisis intervention, documenting all contacts appropriately.
• Regularly review and monitor written documentation, providing corrective feedback and employee discipline as needed.
• Represent Burrell Behavioral Health in the community through outreach, information, and education.
• Coordinate necessary service delivery for clients, including 1:1 staff supervision and field mentoring.
• Facilitate the hiring and training of new staff as needed.
• Manage crisis staff within assigned teams, overseeing hiring, training, professional development, and evaluations.
• Present educational material in public forums to promote community understanding of mental health.
• Develop and maintain partnerships within the community to integrate crisis services.
• Provide crisis intervention services and participate in emergency services as needed.
• Responsible for team scheduling to ensure all 24/7 crisis shifts are appropriately staffed.
• Assist in overseeing communication and collaboration between various programs within Burrell.
• Conduct staff meetings to foster communication and build supportive professional relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Crisis Services or Burrell Administration.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Requires a master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
• Must be an experienced, qualified mental health professional.
• Professional license preferred (PLPC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW).

Additional Qualifications:
• Must complete CPI, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
• Ability to establish effective relationships via telephone and personal contacts.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with community groups, employees, and clients' families.
• Demonstrated adaptability and initiative in a dynamic work environment.
• Must demonstrate competencies in crisis intervention, safety, and legal issues prior to removal from probationary status.

Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to sit and stand for extended periods (2-4 hours); walking may be required for short periods when conducting field-based activities.
• Must frequently use hands and fingers to write, type, operate a mouse, file documents, and otherwise handle documents.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
