Utilizes adult learning principles to foster professional growth. + **Competency Assessment:** Assesses staff learning needs, designs targeted educational programs and evaluates effectiveness to enhance clinical performance. + **Program Development:** Collaborates with subject matter experts to create educational content, integrating current research, best practices, and regulatory requirements. + **Patient & Family Education:** Develops and documents patient and family education plans to support informed decision-making and care management. + **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensures adherence to healthcare laws, policies, and mandatory training requirements. Keeps current with trends in nursing practice, healthcare standards, and accreditation requirements. + **Collaboration & Leadership:** Works closely with hospital leadership, managers, and staff to align education initiatives with organizational goals. Serves as a resource and consultant for clinical and professional development. + **Research & Continuous Improvement:** Contributes to hospital-based research, integrates evidence-based practice into training, and facilitates learning opportunities for nurses to apply research in clinical settings. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Masters Degree in Nursing Education or MSN. + **Licensure:** RN Indiana License. + **Experience:** 3-5 years previous experience in critical care (emergency department, critical care step down unit, intensive care unit or surgical ICU). **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
