Mayo Clinic’s Intensive Care Unit is seeking an Intensivist to join the Southwest Minnesota practice.

Enhanced Critical Care: Enhanced Critical Care is a program designed to improve care, shorten hospital stays and provide an additional layer of care closer to home for Critical Care patients. In addition to being cared for by a local team, patients are remotely monitored by specially trained physicians and nurses working at an operations center at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

Position Details: 

12 hour shifts (12-13 shifts per month)Blocks are scheduled based on practice needs as well as physician preferenceMulti-disciplinary model of care.Practice nurtures academic advancement with opportunity of research, education and academics.Quality metric: 2nd best ICU in the state of MN two years in a row

Qualifications

Competence in critical care procedures.

Two years of Fellowship in Critical care medicine.

Prior experience in critical care is preferred but not a requirement.

New graduates will be considered.

H1 visa candidates will be considered.
