Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform details assignments/interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient. **Essential Key Job Responsibilities** + Diagnostic and patient monitoring (detection and recognition of acute changes and escalation or concerns/critical results). + Administration and monitoring therapeutic interventions and regimens (starting/maintaining intravenous therapies, administering medication per patients’ rights, preventing falls and skin breakdown and following policies in relation to safety measures). + Effective management of rapidly changing situations (identifying, assessing and anticipating needs). + Organization and work rule competencies (prioritizing, coordination and meeting multiple patient needs in a timely manner). + Helping Role (consistently contribute to a healing environment, providing patient comfort and support for human dignity, serving as a patient advocate and building and maintaining a therapeutic environment. + Teaching-Coaching Function (assess and evaluates the patient’s readiness and ability to learn, effectively explain a patient’s condition and their interpretation of his or her illness. + Ensuring the quality of health care/organization practices (understands and incorporates Evidenced Based Practice guidelines into their practices, uses hospital resources effectively, demonstrates the ability to use, maintain and troubleshoot patient equipment and communicates effectively and timely with physicians regarding care needs, status changes and questions regarding treatment plans. + Recognizes and performs duties which are needed even when not directly assigned. **Qualifications** **Required Education for Staff Job Levels** Completion of a diploma nursing program or Associated of Applied Science in Nursing (ASN) **Required Licensure and Certifications** Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or Georgia Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to start date. ACLS, PALS or CART class as determined by departmental requirements. **Pay Range** $29.75 - $43.13 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
